About 7 years ago, I was invited to watch a documentary on modern day slavery; human trafficking, and it opened my eyes to see this very dark side of humanity and oppression that continues to exist in our world today. It has left a deep impression on me, which lead me to join a prayer group at the time. I learned that there are a number of christian charities fighting the very issue of human trafficking all over the world. Since almost 2 years ago, there has been a growing desire to do something meaningful with my love for arts and crafts. This little sprout peg doll represents a small beginning, a mini shop, with items inspired from some of the materials I’ve used and items I’ve made in the past.

For each item that is purchased, 20% of the proceeds will be donated to one of these charities or causes: Ratanak International, IJM, and Exodus Cry. Fighting human trafficking is integral to the mission of these Christian charities.

Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.
